MilieuxMake Workshop Series:
MycoSculpture, Part I
with Théo Chauvirey & AmélieBrindamour
This is a two-part introductory workshop exploringthe use of mycelium in bioart & design. Mycelium, the fibrous vegetativepart of mushrooms, is known as a natural decomposer in the soil, digesting allkinds of organic material (vegetal or animal) and spreading nutrients acrosslands. More recently, mycelium has been used as a natural glue to buildfurniture, art pieces and even small buildings! Using a custom blend of organicmatter and mushroom mycelium, participants will be invited to design & growtheir own mycosculpture!
Spaces are very limited so please email firstname.lastname@example.org, with‘mycosculpture’ in the subject line to reserve a place. Confirmation emailswill be sent out beginning on the 20th of January. (Unfortunately, due to bio-permit restrictions, we are unable to offer this workshop tonon-Concordians).
